Innsbruck is Austria's sports capital — but padel infrastructure is still very limited here. One court is publicly accessible today, with more on the way in 2026.
The padel scene in Innsbruck
Honestly, Innsbruck is still in the early stages when it comes to padel. The only publicly accessible court in the Tyrolean capital is at the USI university sports centre on Fürstenweg — a single outdoor court, bookable by phone, with racket hire available on site.
The good news: a new facility at the Baggersee lake is planned for early summer 2026. Until then, USI is the only game in town for padel players in Innsbruck.
